Victorian Ball gown model “Anna” is based on a silhouette from 1860.

The dress is created in powder pink Taffeta and honey-colored tulle, finished with a champagne-colored ribbon. A perfect dress for those balmy summer nights. The lightweight tulle will move mesmerizing and enchanting everyone in the room as you twirl around the ballroom.

The Victorian Ball Gown 1860, model “Anna”, has a stiffened bodice thanks to the presence of 9 steel bones sewn into it.

The classic pointed shape (both on the front and the back) is finished around the hem and seams with a piping cord coated with old rose satin bias tape. The upper part is adorned with a taffeta Bertha with applied gathered tulle, finished with ribbon, then resumed at the hems of the balloon sleeves. On the back, the Bertha is partly removable (photo 5) to allow the bodice to be fastened by by means of cross lacing.

The classic heart shape of the era is created by two additional pads placed inside the bodice at the side of the breast. In the Victorian Ball Gown 1860, model “Anna”, there are also two hooks ands eyes that allow you to secure the bodice to the skirt so that it does not move; The skirt is gathered in pleats around the waist and decorated with gathered tulle finished with ribbon in the last 50 cm.

In order to make movement easier in case the “Anna” dress is used for period dance performances, it is possible to insert an OPTIONAL elastic band at shoulder height.
